Please be informed, that there are no banks and no hospital on the island, however, there is a bank ATM (Automatic Transfer Machine) a local Medical clinic, and a pharmacy.
For those who lack private transportation, there are 2 buses. Line 1 follows the route  from Hora to the port (Karavostasi) and line 2 follows the route Hora-Agali-Ano Meria.
The island also has a TAXI!

Please note that many of the islands' beautiful beaches are not accessible by car,  Therefore if you wish to visit the really spectacular beaches that are located in remote parts of the island, there are regular boat- routes that you can take. You will find regular boat-trips that run several times a day, from the Main Port to Katergo and from Agali to Agios Nikolaos and Livadaki.

You can come to Folegandros either by ship from Piraeus, or by High-Speed, during the high-season summer months. The trip takes approximately 10 hours by conventional ship and approximately 4,5 hours by High-Speed. You can also come to the island through Santorini from where there is a ship-route every day.
