Another lovely beach is Livadaki.There you may find some shade, provided by its few trees or even by a large rock. The breath-taking colour of the waters and the beauty of the scenery, however, are full compensation for any trouble it took you to get there.

In general, Folegandros's Beaches are well-like because they have preserved their original character without artificial intervention. Only at Agios Nikolaos beach will you find a single tavern, as at Agkali beach, which is a small settlement where you may even choose to stay, if you prefer to sleep above the waves…

You can also get to Agkali by car and then walk the 15 minute path to Agios Nikolaos.

Other beaches that can be reached by car are: Agios georgios, Abeli and Livadi.

One of the most beautiful beaches on the island, according to the majority of visitors to the island, is Katergo. It is a plain beach with no canteen and not even a tree to provide shade, however its natural beauty of turquoise waters and fine pebbles which make up the shore are enough to make anything else unnecessary. Besides, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
